Some Mexico Pictures (part four)
October 29, 2009
After the wedding was over, my wife Annie, and I were able to celebrate our 11th year anniversary while down in Mexico. Here are some random photos I took of stuff that I saw.
No explanations necessary… just picutres of what I saw.
Warning: Geeky photography talk coming up…
The first and fourth images are HDR composites based on two exposures.
The final three images have no color correction done to them. If you're interested in seeing the exposure settings, visit my Facebook photo album where you can often see photos before they're posted here on the blog…

Some Mexico Pictures (part three)
October 28, 2009
Here are more photos of our trip to Mexico for Joemar and April's wonderful destination wedding…
A brief description of each:
This is a shot of the Villa at which our awesome clients, April and Joemar, held their reception.
Another sunset shot of the view from the villa.
This is the street just outside the villa at the end of the wedding day when we were wrapping up and heading home. (I know I skipped over the actual wedding portion of the trip, but highlights will be coming soon.)
A shot of the streets of Puerto Vallarta and capping off the photoset, one more photo of the view from the Villa.
Some Mexico Pictures (part two)
October 27, 2009
Here are some more images from our wedding in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. These images are from day two, our location scout day.
Quick descriptors of each:
I shot with Augie Chang (who, if you've ever seen his blog, you know is very fond of "jumping shots")
We had wonderful food at the hotel restaurant. Including our collective favorite, the fresh ceviche!
The view from the reception site was incredible. I caught this wonderful sunset using HDR photography (high dynamic range.) If you think this sunset photo is cool, wait until you see the high-definition timelapse video that I shot!
Our hotel was nestled in a mountain side and there was countless little critters running about. Cool for nature-lovers like me. (Not so much for my wife.
Lastly, here's one of my favorite shots of Puerto Vallarta. The motorcyles in the forground and the palm trees reflected in the mirror.

Reframe Austin part 5
May 2, 2009
One of the many cool experiences at the Re:Frame conference, Austin, is that I got to test out many other cameras and hang out with some cool friends. Here's a quick video shot entirely with the Canon 5D Mark II.
